Federal Ministry of Education and Research
The well-structured scholarship database of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) also contains information about doctoral scholarships available from companies like Airbus, Bayer and Novartis (only available in German).

EURAXESS
The EURAXESS Germany’s funding database comprises more than 100 programs which are offered by funding organizations in Germany (including the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation). The EURAXESS funding database offers are essentially composed of funding programs for scientists and scholars at an advanced stage of their careers.

DAAD
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers excellent research opportunities for international PhD students and researchers.
