OR Media has its roots in the UO School of Journalism and Communication, and so does our team. We are made up of talented recent graduates and current students eager to produce the very best stories out there.
Jordan Bentz – Managing Producer
Jordan received dual degrees in advertising and magazine journalism from the University of Oregon. He is equally enamored with feature-writing and documentary ideation and production. While in school he worked as an associate editor, videographer, and feature writer for Flux Magazine, and as Editor-In-Chief of OR Magazine. He and Erik Bender were recently nominated for a NW Emmy for their video Football Is Family: We Are St. Paul, which they produced with OR Media.
Erik Bender – Managing Producer
Erik, a ’12 University of Oregon grad, is an action sports enthusiast and an avid outdoorsman. In the past he has held video production and leadership positions at Flux, Ethos, and OR Magazine. He and a team of students were recently awarded first place by the Hearst Journalism Awards Program in its multimedia category for their story profiling a group of smokejumpers in Redmond, Oregon. One day he would like to make a documentary promoting wildlife conservation.
