Undergraduate Opportunities
Undergraduate research assistants are an important element to our research. Students in our lab can gain hands-on experience with launching a major study, tracking participants and ensuring they are completing tasks, and learning how to use various softwares such as REDCap and SPSS.
RAs can expect to initially be working on our study investigating infant sleep as a mechanism implicated in the development of attention and behavior problems in early toddlerhood.
Students involved with the ORCHIDS Lab have opportunities to complete Honors Theses, and present their findings at symposium presentations. The research experience and skills gained from working in the ORCHIDS Lab are applicable to many different career paths.
