These lesson plans are designed for first graders to explore the different states of matter by utilizing their knowledge of technology and math. They will create Oobleck, also known as a non-Newtonian fluid, by using information that they gather from the four lessons and applying it to physical materials in order to properly create and understand Oobleck. These lessons are based on Texas Computer Science State Standards I, IV, and V.
