What’s up, y’all?!

Today was hefty; lots of work got done! Cate met up with our instructor, Dane, to troubleshoot an issue with our website- the epic cartoon of children throwing slime at each went missing! Unfortunately, the two have come to the conclsuion that the crew no longer has access to inserting fun header images on the website, so that fabulous cartoon is forever gone. 🙁 In happier news, Cate and Kayla fixed some issues in their Scratch programs as well as updated their Lesson Plans. Cate also uploaded the video pitch, as written, directed, and filmed by Robyn, to the website’s main page! All that’s left is to post the remaining Lesson Plans and edit the aesthetics of the website. The crew is looking forward to Wednesday!

Howdy-doody!

Today, 06/01, the crew got together in HEDCO to finalize some details, meet with Dane via Zoom, and organize our presentation. Robyn finished up the video while the others continued working on their Scratch Lessons/ Rubrics. Together, the group troubleshot Scratch issues and uploaded various pieces to the website.

Today, 05/27, Cate, Kaitlyn, Robyn, and Kayla meet up in HEDCO to create Oobleck, take individual photos, and group photos! Eugene was especially beautiful today, being that it was nearly 80 degrees! The crew worked diligently to delegate tasks and cross off items on their to-do list. The team accomplished everything promptly and as a result, departed to enjoy the outdoors!

Today, 05/23, Cate, Robyn, Kaitlyn, and Kayla ironed out some challenges concerning the four Lessons, website, and individual artifacts. Together, the crew determined what needs to be completed, how they wanted to tackle the tasks, and spoke in-depth with their instructor, Dane, regarding the elements of the project!

Hello!

Today, 05/16, Cate and Kayla got to work on creating/designing the Üblek Lesson Plan website! They chose the theme and colors for the site, deciphered how to change the CSS, drafted the “Our Lessons” page, and set up the needed additional pages. Alongside the aesthetic, Cate and Kayla brainstormed potential site title and name options and settled on Üblek Lesson Plan.
