Eugene

Eugene is a small city of 155,000 people. It is an hour by car from the Oregon Coast, and from the Cascade Mountains. There are many outdoor recreation opportunities in the area. The city and the surrounding area are home to many microbreweries and wineries. More information can be found at http://www.eugenecascadescoast.org/ and http://www.experienceeugene.com/. There is also good food, and much good coffee. The Saturday Market is well worth a visit for local food, crafts and music.
