I’m an associate professor in the School of Planning, Public Policy, and Management (PPPM) and the director of the Master of Public Administration program at the University of Oregon. I received my PhD in Sustainable Development from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University and a B.A. in Economics and B.S. in Earth and Environmental Science at the University of California, Irvine. My research focuses on public health, transportation, and equity. Previous projects include evaluating the effects of vehicle emission standards on air pollution and health, investigating the impacts of ridehail services on traffic congestion and public transit, measuring urban air pollution in sub-Saharan Africa, and examining the effects of climate change on health and transportation choices. My interdisciplinary research has been published across a range of journals, including the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, and Environmental Research.
Below are links to some of the programs we offer in PPPM that I am involved in. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions about any of them. Here is a link to my faculty webpage.
