Advising

All Neuroscience advising is done through Tykeson Hall for Academic and Career Advising.

Tykeson advisors in the Healthy Communities flight path can assist Neuroscience majors and prospective majors with academic and career questions and planning.

To declare the major, please meet with a Tykeson Healthy Communities flight path advisor.

Drop-in advising is available Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 3:00pm.  If you would like to schedule an appointment, contact Tykeson Hall by phone at 541-346-9200 or email at hcflightpath@uoregon.edu.  You can also schedule appointments online through the Navigate app.

Information on Tykeson Drop-in Advising and Appointments

Prospective majors should meet with a Healthy Communities advisor to determine if Neuroscience is a good fit for you.  You will go over the degree requirements and if applicable, declare the major.

Current majors are encouraged to meet with a Healthy Communities advisor at least once per year to confirm that you are making appropriate progress towards the completion of your degree and to explore possible career paths.

Graduating majors are required to meet with a Healthy Communities advisor during the first term in the year that you plan to graduate to confirm progress towards degree completion and to discuss career plans.
