Rules for entering the Film Festival
- Must be a current UO student to submit an entry
- Students may submit more than one video entry
- Entries must be entrant’s original work
- Entries must be appropriate for a general audience
- Entries must have been produced within the past 16 months
- Entries must adhere to specific time requirements as noted in category requirements
- Entries must be submitted by the deadline: May 20th at 11:59pm
How to submit an entry
- Students should submit entries on the journalism server. If you are not a j student and do NOT have access to the server, please contact Rachel Glass at rglass@uoregon.edu for assistance.
- On the j server, go to the NBS Film Festival folder.
- Inside you will find more folders corresponding to each category.
- Click on the folder that is the name of the category you wish to enter.
- Create YOUR own folder inside the category.
- Include your video and a word document with the following:
- Your full name
- Your major
- Your student ID number
- Name of your entry
- Category of your entry
- Entry total run time

Winners
- NBS will hand out awards to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner of each category.
- The 1st place winner of each category will also win a gift card prize.
