The following visual provides a brief description of the Native Americans portrayed in the popular Disney movies, Pocahontas, Peter Pan, and The Lone Ranger. The data provided with each character are examples of misrepresentations of Native Americans, and a lack of historical and cultural accuracy in film productions.

Originally, this graphic was going to provide information about the numbers of blockbuster movies that have Native American characters or actors in them, and the tribes represented in films, but the numbers were not available. Although the statistics were available for other ethnicities and races, it seems that the numbers have not yet been gathered and published for Native American statistics.
