Introduction

My comic book is about LGBTQ+ issues, and specifically how homophobia can affect kids. I hope that it makes people in similar situations feel seen, and helps people outside of the community better understand the struggles of these people. Most of the design aspects come from ENG 280. It is, after all, Comic Studies. We looked at a lot of examples of how a person can make their comic pages really visually interesting, and break up the usual grid that some comics fall into, ideas that I used a lot when designing my pages.
