Introduction
I chose to write my comic book about dyslexia. I chose to write it about this issue because I have struggled with it my whole life and wanted to shine some light on it. When people read my comic I hope they can sympathize with those struggling with dyslexia. The comic was directed at younger kids who might not understand how dyslexia works, but I was hoping my comic could help people approach the issue with kindness. While in ENG 280 we read a book by Charles Haefield called, A Comics, in this book we learned about tension between panels and how they all play into each other. One specific example I chose to use in my comic is one panel vs. a series of panels. This means that the panels are showing a period of time and without looking at all of them you won’t understand the timeline.
