Introduction
My comic book displays the effects of peer pressure on today’s youth by means of pollution. It highlights the feeling of wanting to fit in, and the processes in which people are changed by even their close friends in negative ways. The takeaway from this story is that there is nothing cool or funny about littering, because it heavily impacts the environment around you and even your personal life. Eng 280 introduced me to different styles of panel formatting from which I built my own layouts, utilizing the analysis practice from Art 101 I developed an understanding of whether my pages would make sense with the way I had my panels positioned.

Jack, your illustrations and comic layout are super dynamic – nice job! I appreciated your use of color symbolism as a way of moving the narrative forward and focusing in on the central theme. It was fun to see some of your creative work after our term together in Art 101.
