More Harmonic Dictations for fun and practice

Here are some various harmonic progressions of varying lengths that make use of viiº as a substitute for V, “inappropriate” IV/iv, modulation to v (minor V), Neopolitans and everything else that you have learned last term up to last week.

The roman numerals are indicated in the file below. Also practice dictating the outer voices as that will be required as part of Friday’s midterm. #4 is a Harmonic/melodic dictation where the chord progression is arpeggiated. I would encourage you to listen to these near an instrument so you can check your work.
