Promotional strategies notes
In one of first ads in East Oregonian, mentions specifically that a girl is wanted for cashier at the Dime. Although their ads are mostly bland, and don’t really stand out, they call themselves “The Ladies’ and Children’s Theater” and offer lowered admission for children. They also mention in ads that they are located next to Rader’s, which was likely a popular restaurant downtown.
