The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is a national organization with local chapters in Oregon. It is the most widely recognized grassroots civil rights organization. The Lane County Chapter was founded in 1976.
ACT-SO prepares, recognizes, and rewards youth of African descent who exemplify scholastic and artistic excellence.
