  1. Ms. Moss, My name is Dave Haas and I have lived in Juneau, Alaska for 38 years. I have a particular interest in the Treadwell Ditch and noticed, by chance, that you authored a document called that in 1981. I am looking for information about the construction of this ditch as we are renovating it as a local multiuse trail in conjunction with the USFS, City of Juneau and the State of Alaska. I am a board member of Trail Mix, a local nonprofit which works with these public entities to renovate local trails.

    • Thank you, Dave Haas. Quite frankly, I don’t remember this at all. The Juneau Ranger District should have a copy as I no longer do. Good luck with your project: I am happy to learn of your work on local trails.
