Jeff Ehren

“Reporting on the #MeToo movement through solutions journalism is important because people need to know what works. There will always be pain and suffering in the world, and responsible reporting holds those who offer solutions accountable. I hope that our story is an example of responsible reporting.“

Jeff Ehren was the social media operator for the University of Oregon School of Law from 2017 to 2018, increasing followers on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Ehren worked in professional theatre for five years after his collegiate career, and later worked for an opera company in Italy for two summers. Ehren then became a custodian at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater (UW-W). For three of his 10 years at UW-W he was the local president and steward of the American Federation of State County Municipal Employees (AFSCME) .

Ehren is pursuing a Master of Journalism at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication. He has a M.S. in liberal studies from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee (2015) and a B.S. in history from Ripon College (1997).
