Corrin Avchin is currently finishing up her senior year at the University of Oregon. Avchin lived in Europe for two months, studying the effects of immigration and migration and how it affected Germany. Avchin is an intermediate speaker of the German language and hopes to live in Europe with the upcoming years.
Avchin studied Europe’s policies of immigration and migration and the changes that will be implemented into law in the coming years. Avchin spent a month abroad independently interviewing people about what it is like to allow immigrants into their homeland.
Avchin will be graduating from the University of Oregon in 2019 with a Bachelor of Art in Journalism and International Studies with a focus on immigration and migration in Europe. She hopes to be a writer for BBC or VICE.
