Cole Kundich

“There are people out there who are doing the work to change the narrative. It is our job as journalists to go out there and tell their stories.”

Cole Kundich, born and raised in Sunnyvale, California, is set to graduate from the University of Oregon in March 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in public relations and journalism. While at the UO, Kundich held a PR internship with the Eugene Generals, was part of the Daily Emerald sports desk for two years, worked at Chipotle and represented the School of Journalism and Communication as part of the inaugural class of the Fox Sports University program sponsored by the Warsaw Sports Business Club.

Off campus, Kundich spent the summer of 2016 as a PR/Special Events intern for NBC Sports Bay Area California, and summer of 2017 as a Digital Team/Sports Reporting intern for KNBR Sports Radio.

Following his time at the UO, Kundich is set to begin an internship with the San Francisco Giants for the 2019 MLB season. Through his professional career, Kundich is excited to use the skills he has developed as a journalist to widen the impact he can have on an organization or company.
