Picasso Reflection

Before visiting Picasso’s museum, I was familiar with his artwork. I had seen it online or via social media before and found it interesting, but also confusing. I’m not the biggest fan of abstract artwork, but I do admit his creative process is interesting. It was cool to see how he made art by just disassembling a bicycle and reusing the parts. For many people, we would just view a bike, but Picasso, he saw potential.

One of my favorite pieces of art at the museum was a sculpture of a flower made from paper (on my Instagram). I found it really creative that he “sculpted” something from a resource not commonly used to sculpt. I found it really pretty and delicate just like the paper he used to make the sculpture.

Overall, I’m glad we were able to go to the Picasso Museum. It was an informative tour and the trip allowed me to see artwork I normally would not have sought out on my own.
