Our trip to the Picasso museum was one of my favorite excursions up to this point. It was my first time visiting a Picasso Museum and also my first time doing a guided tour through a museum. I learned so much through what we were being told on the tour and by reading the descriptions next to each art piece. One thing that I found particularly interesting and made his art more illicit more of an emotional reaction was his relationship with his daughter Maya. As we learned about this, I heard many people talk about how it made them think about a connection they have with a parent. This shows me how Picasso made his art feel understandable and personable to his audience, even without knowing them. Watching the videos of him creating some of his pieces was one of my favorite parts of this museum. He made everything look so seamless and had so much talent.
