Hi, I'm Makeda. I'm an Advertising student at the University of Oregon, and this fall will mark the beginning of my junior year. I am passionate about design, videography and photography--and occasionally I can convince myself that writing isn't so bad, after all. On this blog you'll find examples of my work from over the course of this year. This includes an autobiographical video, a magazine cover and layout, a data visualization, examples of wireframe designs, and a video about the Arab soccer community at the UO. These projects have taught me a lot about the principles of design and editing, and I hope to use these skills to create interesting and informative content in the future.
