Art in Society learning goals & reflections

1.I will try to  understand the relationship between art and society from this course.

To be honest,this course is very difficult for me,but i try me best to understand the points of knowledge about this course.i think this course include anthropological, sociological and philosophical,to explore the relationship between them and the mutual effect for society.

2.I would like to learn how to understand some abstract concept of art.

I think the most diffcult points of knowledge about this course is absract concept,like our group assingment about module 1,“what participatory practices constitute ‘art’, art worlds, or art experiences”?that is really hard to understand,but in the process of learning,after i read a lots of material,i get better about these points of knowledge.So I think, through this course of study makes me more aware of the importance of reading a lot of materials,and you need to know how to  transfrom your ways of thinking.

3.I want to know what is art world?

This is a big topic,I think I still need more time to understand it, now art world in my mind  is a hugecomplex, philosophical,and mystery.

4.What is transmedia in socity,how it works?

After this course,i think transmedia is inclued variety of media platform. like the artist have a lot of way to show his production, it will appear on television, or internet, or printed in the magazine,or exhibit it.The audience will release video, pictures and comments, so many various social mediaplatforms for artist. It’s on the way. Different forms of media are important to people or different processes in art and art worlds.

5.I also interested in what is “arts participation”?and “what affect aesthetics of art”?

After learning,”participation”i think it means we are changing or are we changed by this world,and i think power of the media promote the popularization and improvement of art, and the media with its special status and power discourse about the direction of the development of the arts, or lead the trend of development of art.

Marketing, Media & Communication I Reflections on Learning Goals

1.Before this class i have never contacted these softwares, so I was very interested in this and i  hope that through this lesson i can learn how to make business card posters and  logo skills.

This  term,i learned a lots of  software technology,because i have never been used these software before,i think that is a bit challenge for me,in the beginning,There are many operational problems made me confusion,but with the help of teacher and classmates,I made a good progress.

2.To become familiar with design software such as Illustrator, AI,can simple operation and can be produced.

Like i just mentioned,i have never used  Illustrator and Indesign before,but i think i finishde my assignment though i met with many difficulties,i think i can simple use these software now.

3.Understanding and learning an organization is how to promote the image and self-packaging.

This course’s  knowledge is very useful for me,let me  learned a lot about the organization propaganda ways,like our assignemnt,poster,Ad,logo design,collateral ,given me fresh insights about how to promote organizations image. 

4.learn the technique of making webpages,how to page layout and production.

In this class,we have our own e-portfolio,that is a new thing for me,i really interested in that,And learned a lot of knowledge about how to layout Webpage.

5.I think this course focus on a combination of practice and theory learning, it will provide me with lots of means of dissemination of production technology and experience, Let me  understand the the organization propaganda.
This course not only emphasizing current concerns with digital culture and emergent technologies,but also explore the organization  strategies and marketing,like casestudy,we need select a cultural organization to critically evaluate and discuss current marketing strategies and brand identity and do “environmental scan” analysis of economic, cultural and demographic trender,and we also need analysis  strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of the organization’s cultural product,a little bit hard for me,but it is very  practical  and practice my ability.

Under Armour very clever,US President Barack Obama to do physical training at UA wearing specially tailored “President Edition” sneakers – this moment was captured by widespread media. In china,UA will re-open a 3-5 stores in Shanghai and Beijing. And the first store site selection criteria similar to the initial Under Armour tights stores in major cities will be selected commercial landmark building, with direct access to more consumers.After Shanghai and Beijing has become an important brand, UA plans first northern cities such as Harbin, then cover the major second-tier cities in China. Based on the successful path in the United States, sponsored athletes and fitness coach will be one of the main means of promotion in China.

At this time Under Armour did not stop the strong publicity, in recent Under Armour released a promotional video with Gisele Bundchen. Under Armour cooperation with Gisele Bundchen, try to help the women’s series develop.
