Organizational questions

1. What is your organization or company. Give background history including who, when, and why it was founded.

The company I have chosen is the Under Armour, because this is my favourite sport brand.Under Armour, is an American sports clothing and accessories company. The company is a supplier of sportswear and casual apparel.Under Armour was founded in 1996 by Kevin Plank, a then 23-year old former special teams captain of the University of Maryland football team. Plank initially began the business from his grandmother’s basement in Washington, D.C. He spent his time traveling up and down the East Coast with nothing but apparel in the trunk of his car. His first team sale came at the end of 1996 with a $17,000 sale. From his grandmother’s basement, Plank moved to Baltimore, Maryland. After a few moves in the city he landed at his current headquarters in Tide Point. As a fullback at the University of Maryland, Plank got tired of having to change out of the sweat-soaked T-shirts worn under his jersey; however, he noticed that his compression shorts worn during practice stayed dry. This inspired him to make a T-shirt using moisture-wicking synthetic fabric. After graduating from the University of Maryland, Plank developed his first prototype of the shirt, which he gave to his Maryland teammates and friends who had gone on to play in the NFL. Plank soon perfected the design creating a new T-shirt built from microfibers that wicked moisture and kept athletes cool, dry, and light. Major competing brands including Nike, Adidas and Reebok would soon follow in Plank’s footsteps with their own version of Under Armour’s moisture-wicking apparel.

and payment services, a shopping search engine and data-centric cloud computing services.

When I saw this logo, this interesting pattern attracted me,logo is a lowercase”a”, and it is

easy to see that is a smiling face.About”a”,i think there have a deep meaning,”a” can be a

symbol of the “Start”and”beginning”,can also be symbol of “the end”and”finish”,as the English

name of Alibaba, the word of beginning and end both are“a”. “a”in Western culture have t

he meaning of the  best and excellence, but also a symbol of Alibaba’s service can has a excellence

beginning and a excellence end. And in my opinion, there is another meaning of the logo is

customer can satisfaction smile with Alibaba’s services. Thus, this Logo used to convey the feeling

of the product after the user, or that express the Alibaba’ s service aim is customer will always be first.

I think this logo use Chinese Ancient square hole round coins for

the design concept,“工”,pattern center of the word is a Chinese word,”

(Gong) means industrial in Chines, and I think outside of the circle represents the  circulation of commodities,”工”

(Gong)formation of the polygon represents the extensive contact the

bank business development and economic construction. And I realized the

relationship between polygon and circle is symbolizes the interdependence and

good relationship between banks and customers.This is a very interesting logo.

makes me have a very keen sense on this logo. The logo with fluent lines, a keen sense of

the time, and high artistic quality, strong sense of sporty and visual attractiveness of the

combinations of letters,it fashion a vision of new image of modern communication enterprise.

The logo with the letter “C” as the theme of elements, tow”C”entwined together,it looks like a

Chinese “中”.After I looked at it for a long time seriously,i feel that the infinite extension of two
