1. I have learned through this class that there are many circumstances where art can fit in with society and culture. Each of the modules that we read throughout this course have taught me that there are many situations that call for art to be in society and the need for it to be available t everyone.

2. Art plays a crucial role in society today. The main catalyst for participation and creativity is through the use and practice of art. The ways in which art are represented in our culture are through events and programs that celebrate culture and heritage.

3. Arts programming can only happen when an arts manager creates and promotes art events and can market their target audience. I have learned this through the courses I have taken so far and believe that art managers have to inspire their audience to want to participate.

4. I have been able to see that there are many art experiences throughout Eugene. The people in this class have been able to highlight many opportunities that involve the arts and I have been able to experience many events that can educate me more about the art community in Eugene.
