The Eugene Ballet Company was founded in 1978 by Toni Pimble and Riley Grannan. The Eugene Ballet Companyhas grown from a community based ballet company to one of the most recognized ballet companies in the West. EBC has over 100 ballets that have been performed in 32 US states as well as internationally.

The Eugene Ballet Company is committed to providing dance services to all of the Eugene community.

How do the employees work together? What are the jobs and roles of individuals? How are they treated by management?

I am not sure what the culture is like within this organization because I have not been a part of their programs. However, looking at the website, the Eugene Ballet Company looks to be a very welcoming environment for people interested in learning more about the dance form of ballet.

The target audience looks to be people interested in learning more about ballet. However, there are more women who join the company than men.

5.      What is the organization or company mission statement?

The mission statement of the Eugene Ballet Company is:  “The Eugene Ballet Academy is a pre-professional Oregon dance academy dedicated to enriching the lives of children and encouraging the development of self esteem, discipline, physical fitness,musicality, grace and a love and appreciation for the art of dance.”
