David Roth, BArch ’72, (Canada) and Teresa Roth, BArch ’72, (Canada)

Architect Couple, From UO to Retirement

Teresa and David met in a class in Architecture in 1966. Enjoying concerts at Mac Court and road trips to the coast to play on the beach while listening to “Up, Up and Away” by the Fifth Dimension are great memories.
They married in 1969, worked for a while, and graduated in 1972.
After a career practicing Architecture and Interior Design in Montreal, Quebec, and Edmonton, Alberta they retired in 2011.
The last project they worked on together was the restoration of the historic Bailey Theatre in his home town of Camrose, Alberta, where they now reside.  They have two sons and a granddaughter.
The attached photo is of Teresa and David in the Bailey Theatre that they helped restore in 2011.
