Going the Distance by Staying Together Long Distance

Vincent You and Daisy Yang’s met at a friend’s party. Vincent bought a bubble milk tea for Daisy because Daisy does not like beer. Daisy shares, “After meeting at that party, we started texting every day and hanging out when we could. It was like love at the first sight.”

After graduating in 2017, Daisy went back to her hometown in China. She and Vincent stayed in their relationship for two years while Vincent finished his degree in Eugene. In 2019, they got married in Eugene where they both still live today.

Daisy says the most unforgettable Valentine’s day for her was is in 2018 when Vincent secretly sent a big bunch of roses to her office in China. It was a big and very happy surprise at a time when there were so many miles separating them!
