Welcome to the QA3 Home of UO's Oldest Student-Led 2SLGBTQIA+ Organization
Welcome to the homepage for the LGBTQA3 Alliance, commonly shortened to the QA3! Our mission is to prevent isolation while raising awareness and maintaining a space which celebrates and affirms all sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions.
Looking for a place to do homework, relax, and hang out? Come by our office in EMU 022!
QA3 Office Info
Our student-run office is located on the ground floor of the Erb Memorial Union (EMU 022) and all students are welcome to come and hang out in the space during our open hours! The QA3 office is typically open 10am-5pm Monday through Friday during weeks 1-10 of each term (with some small changes according to staff availability). Updated hours will be posted on our door and our socials the first week of the term.
We’re a great place to meet new people, drink some tea, explore our queer library, or do some homework! We’ve got lots of crafting supplies, snacks and free black and white printing!
Meetings and Subgroups
The QA3 isn’t just a chill space for queer students to hang out on campus, we’re also a club with weekly general meetings! The time and location of our general meetings are updated at the start of each term. They are great place for getting involved with the QA3, learning about different resources and events on campus, helping to plan events such as our annual drag show and queer prom, or just getting to know other LGBTQIA+ people on campus!
We also host a variety of identity-based subgroups such as Trans and Nonbinary, Aces and Aros, Bi and Beyond, and Sapphic Sentral! If you’re interested in hosting an identity subgroup we don’t currently have, feel free to email us at uolgbtqa3@gmail.com or message us on Instagram @lgbtqa3!
