It is important to understand what pronouns are and how to address them when interacting with others. Here is a list of information compiled by the UO LGBTESS and Dean of Student’s office to help explain pronouns and their importance. Have questions about pronouns? We’ll work with the department head, Division of Equity and Inclusion/Center on Diversity and Community, and the Queer-Ally Coalition to bring in specially trained people to help bring everyone up-to-speed on pronouns and their impact on inclusion in the sciences!
