  1. Strategic Planning: uses the SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) method to determine the strategy that a non-profit will obtain it’s mission.
  2.  CRM (Customer Relationship Management): “Customer relationship management (CRM) is a term that refers to practices, strategies and technologies that companies use to manage and analyze customer interactions and data throughout the customer lifecycle, with the goal of improving business relationships with customers, assisting in customer retention and driving sales growth”.  I found this definition on http://searchcrm.techtarget.com/definition/CRM.  This is helpful to non-profits as it can narrow what you need to market and to who.  This can eliminated unnecessary costs as your are you are marketing to specific audiences with pre-determined material.
  3. Medium: how, or on what, something is presented.  For example, an ad is presented on a newspaper medium or the computer is a graphic designers medium.
  4. Social Impact/Consequence: how an organization can effect the community, either positively or negatively.  Obviously, non-profits have a goal of positive impact on community, hence the mission statement.  This could not realistically be the case if they don’t follow the mission they set out to achieve.
  5. Narcissism: Google defines narcissism as: “excessive or erotic interest in oneself and one’s physical appearance.”
