Cody Kiesling
I am a graduate of the University of Oregon’s Music Education program, with a Master’s Degree in Music Education, class of 2024. I am certified to teach K-12 band, choir, orchestra, and general music in the state of Oregon and Colorado.
Before starting this graduate program, I obtained my bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Oregon with an emphasis in band pedagogy, graduating in 2020. I spent two years teaching in the Siuslaw Public School District in Florence, Oregon. In Florence I was the Director of Bands, teaching middle and high school, grades 6 through 12 at Siuslaw Middle School and High School. I was responsible for all band-related activities including football and basketball games, parades, and recruiting for the middle and high school band programs.
