This is a typical Service Blueprint for the Spa industry. We created this based on the interactions necessary for a service to be done. This spa would attract customers in the local area and potentially create reoccurring customers. We think the major improvements necessary to make this process easier come in the forms of creating the same customer service but with less people and less equipment, which really translates to technology. There can be an app or online forum created in which a person can book appointments, pay, and confirm treatments without using the company employees directly. There would be less employees needed to process and receive customer situations, and the customers could interact through the app with the employees before showing up, saving time, technology usage, and wages. Realistically we could not come up with any more improvements that would use less resources, everything else that could be improved is along the lines of providing quality experience, which would require more work from the employees.
