2012 – current       Senor Project Manager/Senior Instructor, Academic Extension, University of Oregon

  • Responsible for researching and cultivating new on-line course development through education and collaboration across campus.
  • Consult with individual faculty, departments and programs regarding options for on-line development including development time-lines, instructional design process, budget models, and pedagogical approaches.
  • Participate in campus and state level meetings to provide expertise about current and emerging trends in on-line education and technology enhanced education.
  • Contribute to collaborative team process evaluating priorities and system development .

 

2004 – current        Director, Office for Professional Outreach and Development for Students

                              School of Architecture & Allied Arts, University of Oregon.

  • Manage program development and all financial functions, including fundraising, of small career center serving both Eugene and Portland campuses serving over 1600 students in 10 disciplines. Supervise 3 staff, 4 adjunct faculty and 2-3 students.
  • Oversee A&AA Career Fair and A&AA Annual Career Symposium
  • Responsible for raising 60% of annual operating budget through self-support initiatives including courses, partnerships and events.

Early Arts, Education, and Community Development

• Designed and implemented a three-session screen printing curriculum for 6 local schools. Grades 5 & 6,

• Collaborated with teacher and 6th grade students for one term to create and perform school-wide musical play/performance for community,

• Developed and delivered ceramics classes for children 10-13 at Maude Kerns Art Center.

• Coordinated all aspects of national level juried exhibit of over thirty national artists,
