Olá! I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Oregon. My work focuses on Feminist and Queer Theories, Decolonial and Latin American studies, Visual Research Methods, and Race and Ethnic Studies. My academic and creative works are multimodal: I do ethnographic films, mixed media collages, illustrations, photography, poems, and zines. I was born and raised in Goiânia, Brazil, and this is how to pronounce my name. I have a bachelor’s degree in Social Communication/Journalism and a master’s in Social Anthropology, both from the Universidade Federal de Goiás (UFG). I am a proud union member and the Co-chair of the Latine/x Caucus of the Graduate Teaching Fellows Federation (GTFF). Out of school, you may find me playing with my gatinha Zoé, traveling with friends, in a movie theater, or doing art.
