1. Where did you move from to attend the UO? And, briefly describe how you landed on the UO AAD program. Any interesting, funny, anecdotal stories/details are welcome.

I actually attended UO for Undergrad. I did a double major in Art History and Classical Civilizations with a minor in Arts Management. Before that I moved to Eugene from Austin Texas. I came to the UO originally for athletics, I was a part of the Acrobatics and Tumbling team. Through my undergrad work is how I found the AAD Grad program.

2. Area of concentration in AAD?

I am a museum studies concentration

3. Describe your knowledge and use of technology systems.

I am fairly knowledgable of technology. I am used to using Mac operating systems. I have done WordPress for personal blogs but not much web designing other than that. I am also familiar with some of the adobe suite: photoshop and InDesign mostly.

4. What software do you commonly use? Briefly describe purpose/application for software on your list.

I use most of the Microsoft office suite for academic use. I also use Adobe photoshop for personal digital photography.

5. Do you have any graphic design or media production/management experience? Have you taken any graphic design or media production courses?

I do not have any graphic design or media production experience.

6. Know anything about typography?

I know a basic definition of typography and that it is an important design element but not much more about the details of it.

7. Do you use Web (2.0) apps? Name those that you use or are familiar with.

I am not familiar with “Web 2.0”

8. Do you use Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Vine, Yelp, etc.)? Name those that you engage in.

I use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat

9. Tell me something unique about yourself.

As mentioned earlier I was an athlete on the Acrobatics and Tumbling team in my undergrad. I did gymnastics and cheerleading for most of my life. Because of this I am very active, I enjoy working out. I also have a interest in the visual arts: acrylic painting and film photography.
