One of the many produce stands on August 8, 2015 at the Eugene Saturday Market. Eugene prides itself on the many farmers that show up each week to sell their wide-variety of produce.

The Saturday market is probably one of my favorite events that I have attended in Oregon.

It’s filled with a variety of people who really represent the true colors of Eugene. Waking up early on a sunny Saturday morning and simply walking down 8th Street is always a relaxing and enjoyable time.

There’s live music, food just about everywhere and beautiful hand-made jewelry. (I know farmer’s markets are becoming pretty common, but this one is definitely the most unique one I have seen).

Eugene is a funky city, but immersing yourself in some of the random events gives you a much better feel for the people who live here, and the Saturday Market is a great way to start the transition.

I recorded a short walk-through video of some unique items you would see at the Saturday Market.
