SCRIPT: Multimedia Character – Ryan Bax

Ryan Bax: ‘Cause the thing with me is, I’m not what I would consider a rapper, I’m not what I would consider to be a rapper, I’m a rap artist and theres a big difference between the two.
Ryan: A rap artist is someone who sits down. takes the time and the dedication throughout the day to process their thoughts into meaningful messages and pour our their heart onto paper; that is a rap artist and thats what I consider myself to be.
Narration: Ryan grew up in Beaverton, OR with an older sister, younger brother and parents. He tried to find some group or thing to connect with as he entered middle school as his parents had a falling out. He turned to hip-hop as he began writing his own rhymes and put in the time and effort to found he had a true talent and passion for music. He had figured out how to express himself.
Ryan: I find that I need to write, I need to express myself, I need to let out these feelings and emotions that I have inside of me and when I write and when I make songs I’m able to do that.

Ryan: Music’s changed my life because…. first of all it developed my writing skills. Through doing music I found out that I have a real big passion for writing and someday I hope that I can publish a book or an article or something or some kind of writing.
Narration: Ryan graduates this spring from U of O majoring in Environmental Studies.
