Opportunity to Share about IPMP with ISSS!

Dear Peer Mentors!
I wanted to invite you to share your experience as peer mentors with colleagues in International Student and Scholar Services!
Next Thursday, November 30, 2017, you are invited to come to the ISSS Staff Meeting and give a brief presentation/talk on your experience as mentors.
The time for this is 9:30-10:00 AM on Thursday, November 30th, 2017.
I would ask you to focus on one of the questions below if you would like to share:
  • What has the peer mentor program done for you, personally or professionally?
  • How have you positively impacted a mentee’s life?
  • How has the peer mentor program fit into your life and experience at the University of Oregon?
If you’re interested in attending the meeting to share your experience as a peer mentor, please email me at Sharece@uoregon.edu. We’ll spend some time at our meeting on November 29th discussing this more!

Thanks! And, Mentor Evaluation to Complete

Dear Mentors!
Thanks for yet another amazing week last week!
It was awesome to see most all mentors at our meeting Wednesday night despite the room change, late pizza, and rainy weather! 🙂 I especially enjoyed watching you all connect to one another through the speed meeting activity at the end of the meeting!
As discussed, I have the Mentor Evaluation ready for all of you to fill out! Please fill it out by Tuesday, November 28th! This is incredibly important for me to have in order to complete the assessment for our program so we can continue to do great things.
Remember that if you have concerns with new international students (mentees) that need immediate attention to please email me (sharece@uoregon.edu) for a response and I can offer my support for the situation!
