I don’t believe that there is necessarily an easy (or best) solution to homelessness. I think that it can vary from person-to-person drastically on what areas of support will help achieve the best long-term solutions for that individual and their circumstances. Although, I think that two very important aspects of fighting homelessness and providing resources to those that are in need are collaboratively designing shared housing options and providing innovative support systems to both assist in the overcoming and continuance of overcoming houselessness.

I totally agree that there are no “best” solutions to addressing this problem or achieving it. I think that it is so important to provide long term solutions as well as support systems. A lot of facilities are just cycling through people and they often have a limit on how long they can stay somewhere and it more often than not does not provide long term support.
In relating this to the lecture I think that it plays into how the industrial revolution really created a separation within society. If you could not work your way up you did not have stability and it was expensive at that time to live and a lot of people did not have the means to support themselves. It also did away with communal identity and support which I feel was incredibly harmful.
In the future I think it is so important for shelters and other facilities to provide networking and long term support. You cannot expect people to do more for themselves if there is no external support for them. In America everything is so expensive and it is nearly impossible to climb out of poverty, and long term housing solutions could provide stability for people and help them get out of that.
Homelessness requires tailored approaches, with solutions varying based on individual needs. Collaboratively designing shared housing options and implementing innovative support systems are crucial in addressing homelessness effectively. Addressing homelessness necessitates personalized approaches, such as collaborative housing design and innovative support systems. These initiatives acknowledge diverse needs and offer holistic solutions for long-term stability. While no universal solution exists, prioritizing tailored support and collaborative efforts is essential in addressing homelessness effectively.
