Principles and Methods for Inclusive Teaching

This module introduces key principles for teaching in inclusive schools, including using real life experiences for teaching and learning, communicating well with each child who has difficulty communicating, and never giving up on a child.

You will learn to:

1. Explain how using real life experiences can help a child with disabilities to learn.
2. Give examples of real life experiences for learning.
3. Be patient. Never give up on a child.
4. Identify three or more helpful ways to communicate with a child who has difficulty communicating.

Pre-Test

First, we are going to do a test to see how much you know about the topics in this Module. We will do the test at the beginning of the module to see what you already know, and at the end of the module to see what new information you have learned. This helps us to measure how successful this module is in training you.
