Cost

$200.00 for standard registration (In-Person and Virtual)

$150.00 for student registration (In-Person and Virtual)

$25.00 for virtual-only registration

Cancellations with full refund can be made up until 7 days before the event. An invite to login to the virtual conference will be sent 7 days before the event. Please contact adelouiz@uoregon.edu to request a refund. 

The conference registration fee for in-person attendees includes dinner on Thursday, September 15th, breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Friday September 16th, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday September 17th in addition to in-person and virtual conference access.

 

Presenter Information

Podium and Plenary Presentations

The use of visual slides is strongly encouraged. All in-person presentations will be live streamed and recorded for viewing at the virtual conference.

In-Person: Slides for both plenary and podium should be uploaded HERE at least 48 hours before your scheduled presentation. Files should be named LastName_FirstName2022. Presenters also need to complete a model release form (UO Model Release Form – IS Media Services) as soon as possible, with the deadline being September 12th at 11:59pm PST. This release form is to allow access to your talk to virtual attendees through streaming and recordings. 

Plenary Presentations: 60 minutes with a 60 minute session for Q&A and discussion

Podium Presentations: 20 minutes with 10 minutes for Q&A and discussion following each presentation

Young Investigator Podium Presentations: 12 minute talks with 3 minutes for Q&A following each presentation

Virtual: Pre-Recorded talks should be uploaded to the virtual conference website at least 48 hours before the assigned session. Virtual presenters should make efforts to be available during the live Q&A after their talk and the 1 hour Q&A and discussion session after their session. More information on how to engage with the conference virtually will be available on the virtual conference website (coming soon). 

 

Poster Presentations

In-Person: The poster print size for the symposium is 42” x 36” landscape or 36” x 42” portrait orientation. There can be no exception for a different size, because it will not fit on the poster stand.

Virtual: Posters for the virtual conference should be uploaded to the virtual conference website at least 48 hours before the assigned session in PDF format. Any standard poster sizes work for the virtual posters. Virtual presenters should make efforts to be available for the message based Q&A during their poster session and the 1 hour life Q&A and discussion session after their poster session.

 

Plenary Presentations

Plenary Presentations are 60 minutes with a 60 minute session for Q&A and discussion. All plenaries will take place in-person, but will be life streamed for virtual conference attendees.
