The comprehensive project experience at the University of Oregon spans three terms. In fall, students conceptualize and conduct research to define a socially relevant adaptive reuse design project. By the end of the term they have developed a program and selected a site that will form the basis for their work for the next two terms. In winter, students document their site, continue to do research and continue to refine and specify their programs. By the end of winter, students have a schematic design direction. At the end of the winter term our studio moved online due to the Covid 19 crisis. We are using this blog to document and share our work with reviewers, other design student and each other.
