Have you ever seen water so clear it looks like glass? Or water so blue it’s hard to believe? By hiking to the Tamolitch Blue Pool, you will get to experience sights of both! Join us on Saturday, May 4 as we hike to this breathtaking sight and take in its unrealistic beauty.
COST:
Domestic/International/Exchange Students – $5
Non-students and Scholars – $15
SCHEDULE: Please meet in front of the REC Center by 8:45am. We will leave campus at 9am and head for the Tamolitch Blue Pool by van. We should arrive at the Blue Pool trailhead by 10:30am. After our hike we will have a lunch break before heading back to Eugene. We will arrive on campus around 4pm.
What to Bring: Water proof jacket, hat and warm/comfortable clothes, hiking boots – or a sturdy pair of shoes, comfortable socks, cold weather gear and any appropriate gear for long nature walks. Bring your own drinks and snacks, a light backpack or fanny pack to hold personal items such as: phone, camera or wallet, and money for lunch.

- Disclosure Clause: Please be advised that all participants need to follow dress code, explOregon staff instructions, and explOregon protocol. Failure to comply may result in participants being asked to leave and/or barred from future trips at the discretion of explOregon staff.
2. During the trip, explOregon staff will instruct all participants to fill out a liability waiver and photo release form. All forms must be completed accurately and returned to the explOregon staff before the end of the event.
