University of Oregon Dance Marathon
The University of Oregon Dance Marathon raises money for our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, which ensures children in our community get the care they deserve. To participate, you can register a team, an individual participant, or a volunteer. The Dance Marathon event occurs at the beginning of winter term.

PeaceJam brings together college students and teenagers to tackle world issues through a variety of ongoing service projects. Opportunities include coaching youth with their ongoing projects, mentoring small groups during their spring Leadership Conference, and more. Volunteers are essential for the smooth operation of Safe Ride and it’s a great opportunity to help keep UO students safe. To become a volunteer you must attend a 30–minute training session and commit to one 2–2.5 hour shift per week.

Unpack the Quack volunteers help the incoming class move into residence halls by moving boxes, greet new Ducks, and welcome students’ families. Volunteers sign up for a 2.5-hour shift, or longer.
