My dominant teaching perspective is development. The developmental perspective is summarized as “Effective teaching must be planned and conducted from the learner’s point of view.” This perspective emphasized making connections and moving from simple to more complex thinking. My teaching values, “Know your students”  and “Context matters” are well reflective of my developmental perspective.
