Not only will Mic be performing a set at our Jam, he will be doing a one-hour workshop, “Writing Bars that Matter,” on December 5 at 2pm.

We would like to introduce our confirmed performers, and here are some young ladies smashing the turntables: DJs Amira & Kayla.
While most 14 years old kids are playing the latest video games on their smartphone, twin sisters, Amira & Kayla are making a name for themselves around the world as famous DJs.
When behind the turntables, this duo gets the party started, kicks the crowd in gear and makes sure the momentum never ceases. Amira & Kayla’s love for music and their devotion to the DJ craft is rooted firmly in family. Their father taught them how to DJ at an early age. This unique sister act have quickly gone from playing small parties to deejaying major corporate events, lighting up social media with viral videos and making high-profile appearances on major television, online, and radio programs.
Some of Amira and Kayla’s TV appearances include: The Tonight Show, Steve Harvey, Wendy Williams, Harry, The Real, ESPN, Revolt, Showtime At The Apollo, and Telemundo. The girls also appeared in three national Target commercials, Reebok Campaigns, J Balvin Mi Gente Remix video featuring Beyonce, and have been featured online in media outlets such as BuzzFeed, UPROXX, Now This, Yahoo, Elle USA, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and more.
When Amira and Kayla are not appearing on TV or online, they can be found deejaying for major celebrities, sporting teams, brands, and exclusive VIP events.
Praise for the twins is coming from their fans and today’s hottest DJs, Music Producers & Entertainers. Amira & Kayla have quickly gained a large online following including super stars like Rihanna.
Everyone seems to agree Amira & Kayla are two amazing kids with awesome musical talent who prove you’re never too young to follow your dreams!
Lisa will be rocking a set at our Jam Friday December 4 and teaching an Intermediate Beatmaking Jamshop on Saturday Dec. 5 at 3PM PST. Lisa rocks a MPC Live, but she will show you basic techniques that you can apply to any hardware or software. Jamshop will be followed by a short Q&A.

Lisa Vazquez is an Argentine bred Wonder Woman in all aspects of her craft. A Hip Hop / Soul producer, Vocalist and Multi Instrumentalist, Lisa blends worldly and jazz flavors with sultry vocals and deep lyrics all over a classic hip hop thump to get you moving. She has shared stages with Just Blaze, Talib Kweli, Chali 2na, and KRS One while being featured at festivals such as Soundset, SXSW, Summer Meltdown and Oregon Country Fair. Lisa was also a finalist in the 2018 International Goldie Awards DJ and Beat Battle, garnering herself esteem in the eyes of well known producers and DJ’s.
Lisa is the answer to what hip hop has been lacking in recent years. She creates her beats live, while layering her vocals to create a rich canvas for her lyrics and sultry vocals.Truly a one woman show like no other. Lisa taps into her creative world further with her Beatmaking Series – “Flip It Friday” which you can find on Youtube.
Lisa has been doing lots of workshops / one-on-one music production lessons that focus heavily on the MPC, but not limited to it. She recently released an EP called Hit Like A Girl, as well as a single with the German label, Dedicate, that is an all-female compilation including Georgia Ann Muldrow and others.
She has recently partnered with Isla Instruments as a beta tester for the SP2400 and is doing sound design for them along with artists like DJ Battlecat, Questlove, Ski Beatz, Just Blaze, Young Guru, E A SKi, etc. She has a full-length album on the way called Nocturnal Sun dropping in February.
