This Jam was organized by the Hip Hop and The Politics of Race FIG (First Year Group). FIGs are offered as a three class community to incoming freshman that focus on different topics within our university’s Flight Paths. This FIG is categorized under the “Media, Arts, and Expression” and “Public Policy, Society, and Identity” Flight Paths. The FIG’s theme is “Culture In Review,” where we examine cultures and subcultures through a discerning lens. The classes included in this FIG are: Music 360, Ethnic Studies 101, and College Connections 101.
