This week I received several files from Pete and began adding photos to the website.  Upon choosing the Ishimoto layout, and uploading content, I feel that template is optimal for both design and functionality for Pete’s purposes.  I created several pages within the site, which include subpages to organize his work and create more flow for the site.   Additionally, I began customizing the website, starting with the header and and page titles.  For the time being I have chosen the estello font for Petes name and logo.  The sans serif font provides a clean, modern look with retro undertones provided by the elongated descenders on the capital letters.  Additional work has been done to various logos and one should be decided upon soon.  The main setback for the progress of the site continues to be Pete himself, as working with him is difficult, but this is part of the reason I chose the project.  I wanted to work with a client that would provide a challenging work environment, because I will encounter this in the future.

To do this week:

Continue adding content

Customize the site.

Feedback from Pete.

Continue logo work.
